UCB has the distinct designation as a National Preferred Lender (PLP) by the SBA. Designation as a National Preferred Lender by the SBA indicates that a bank has a proven track record with SBA, and has demonstrated proficiency in the areas of SBA lending policy, credit underwriting, packaging, closing and servicing SBA loans. For the 12 months ending September 30, 2006, which represents the government’s fiscal year, United Central Bank was ranked 21st in the nation in generating SBA loans.
